I have to get up in like 5 hours, maybe less, so I’m going to go to bed now. I shall be back when I’m not playing Axel~
"That much is very true." Xeha did not know that Saix had another child other than the one he was presently carrying. "Well if something happens you tomorrow while you are working there is a good chance that he will anyway. Call in sick, or something."
No response was given for several moments as he mulled over the notion. He doubted he couldn’t get one of the others to hand out missions for at least a day, or otherwise make the dusks do so. And he supposed that he could simply say that he’d taken a mission of particular importance, so that he could safely be away from the castle for several days. “…. You’ve a point, Xehanort. I may very well do so, although I shall have to leave the castle for several days if this is to go unnoticed…”
She blinked a few times when he said she could use his bed. she went to say something but he beat her to it “saix..no. you use your bed. it’s better for you that way.. i really don’t mind making a nest on the floor or something.” She smiled at him leaning towards him just a bit “it’s better for you and the baby”
He sighed and shook his head. He really couldn’t argue with her about his bed -both of them knew she was right- but there was something else he would argue over. “You’re my guest and my friend; I simply cannot allow you to sleep on the floor. So will you at least allow me to bring in one of the cots for you?”
"Glad to hear it. Maybe you will be a good parent. To be honest, I’d think you’d get the job done. I feel bad for the kid; you can be really scary."
"Well thank you, Larxene. On both accounts. But I feel as though I’ve been at least somewhat gentle with my son thus far, so perhaps my scariness is rather tailored to the moment."
"It wouldn’t have come up in any of our previous conversations." Usually the fewer people who knew about her daughter the safer said daughter would be. "You really should be taking time off before you strain yourself too much and cause problems for yourself and the child."
"I shall give you that. And it isn’t as if either of us are in a position to freely speak of our children." In that respect, he could fully understand; he’d told precious few about his eldest child, Koray. "I know I ought to, but that would require telling Xemnas about my child, and I’m sure you can imagine the vast array of problems that could ensue."
She nodded just smiling at him “of course i would. your my friend. ” besides she could just faintly remember him as his sombody playing with her in the gardens as a child.
Perhaps out of protectiveness, Saix didn’t feel at all comfortable giving Kairi one of the unused bedrooms in the castle. “I shall allow you to use my bed during your stay here. And before you say anything, I can simply make up a cot for myself.”
Just as he expected. “Here. Take them.” He handed the Diviner a few pages filled with scribbled notes and observations.
Black gloved hands reached out and took the offered paperwork, and lupine eyes skimmed over the Lancer’s handwriting before neatly organizing them into the stack clipped onto his clipboard. “As always, I thank you for being so prompt with your work, Xaldin.”
