Sleep had only just graced the Diviner when the cold ever so rudely woke him back up. It was a rare day that the others were out on missions, and the seventh member was finished with his work. And rather than trying to find more work to kill himself with, he’d simply tried to get some rest for once. But being denied, Saix shuffled back out into the Grey Room.
"Why is it so damned cold?" He grumbles.
"Also those with heightened opinions of themselves, those who believe them above themselves… now, that is a sport, to show them that they look the same inside as everyone else… ah. This is making me feel hungry just thinking of it."
"Ahh, yes. That, I think, is to be compared to felling a prize buck." The man’s phrasing almost disturbed the Diviner until he remembered the whole ‘vampire’ thing. "I do find myself interested in anatomy and the like, however, so I must ask; how does one of your kind consume blood without becoming ill?" Saix still felt exceptionally skeptical about this, though in favour of being peaceable, he simply went along with it.
"Exactly. But many just can’t accept they’re not truly at the top of the food chain," He shrugged. "Such a shame, though it is amusing."
"I don’t know that I would call it a shame per say, but rather… Well… Added sport. Which I personally believe adds to the amusement."
"It usually attracts humans who think they can put me down," He gave a shrug. "Very rarely it attracts people who’re all "oh my god you can’t do that this is wrong", though it ain’t wrong for me. Humans are prey, without ‘em I can’t really survive."
Saix snorted. “Humans are prey just like anything else, whether it be at the hand of another human, a vampire, or a nobody like myself. And those who try to live life by ideals of right and wrong are usually hunted down and exterminated first.”
"Hm, you said you weren’t human anyway. I’m not gonna risk it," He responded with a shrug.
"Good…. Out of curiosity, however, why were you threatening to bite someone…?"
"Eh, people can try. I’ve picked up a lot of tricks in my life," He gave a shrug. "I’m simply too old to give a damn anymore."
"After awhile, it does seem almost a welcome thought…" He muses. "However, you should know that I have no intentions of raising a blade to you unless you force my hand."
"You’d think so. Though the heart is not really necessary for our survival," He shrugged.
"I s’pose the other’s could be used to pin or immobilise a vampire, ‘cause even if it doesn’t kill, being staked is very painful."
"Interesting." Saix manages a humourless and faint smile. "I also find it interesting how you would so easily tell someone who might very well try to kill you such things."
"Hm, true. But either way, there are a lot of wrong myths. Like the staking thing. It only really harms us if the stake is made of a certain tree’s wood. Or the werewolves. They can kill us, but only because the virus in their saliva is pretty deadly to us," He simply shrugged. "And we’re not very fussy when it comes to blood. Virgin blood tastes pretty much the same to us, though of course different vampires will have different preferences. Also, certain writers seem to think we sparkle in sunlight, which is the worst idea possible. Basically, our kind are more like a type of venomous demon than anything."
So as not to be rude, Saix kept his mouth shut and listened as the supposed ‘vampire’ spoke, only bothering to reply once the vampire had spoken. “Logical question for you, though; who wouldn’t a steak through the heart kill, wood or not?”

Theme for Saix/Isa in KH III. The most suggested character theme next to Lea’s. This one has a “Sacred Moon” vibe and if you listen with attention you will hear a reference from another character theme.

"It ain’t delusion," He responded, flashing the other a toothy smile. "Though then again, humans do seem to have such absurd ideas about my kind."
"And how can you be so certain that I am human?" Saix looked somewhat less than impressed. "But regardless… I shall humour you; what absurd ideas do humans have about ‘your kind’?"
